Ones that arrive with the permission of the country of origin and will be viewed as 'sharing cultural heritage' in the 21st century.

If only everybody in your world shared your sensitivity to the things that really matter! The BM scandal is no great surprise. The governance of many museums is a thieves charter, given the lack of proper records, and one can only wonder what nasty surprises may emerge elsewhere due to institutional arrogance and ignorance.
